The route to the Castle of Montgrí, within the Natural Park of Montgrí, the Medes Islands and the Baix Ter, will bring us closer to the better-known Montgrí, where we will discover places of great historical, archaeological and natural interest, not forgetting the impressive 360º panorama with view of the Pyrenees and a large part of the Alt and Baix Empordà.
PDF routeThis bicycle route runs mostly between fields of fruit trees, cereals and rice fields. It will take us first to the mouth of the River Ter, and then in the direction of the old course of the River Ter, where we can watch birds from a beautiful viewpoint. Then we will head towards the beach of l'Estartit, with the Medes Islands within easy reach. Back towards Torroella de Montgrí, we can admire several fortified farmhouses such as Torre Begura.
PDF routeThis itinerary allows you to see the old agricultural framework inside the Montgrí massif. Between pine forests and garrigues, we will pass through old aixarts, that is, the piled stone walls that are created by clearing the brush and removing the stones from a wooded land to enable it as a cultivation area. We can also see a sinkhole, cisterns, dry stone huts, a well and old lime kilns.
PDF routeThe “Ruta a la Gola del Ter” proposes a comfortable tour of the areas of ecological interest on the Baix Ter coast. The route runs almost entirely within the limits of the Montgrí, Illes Medes and Baix Ter Natural Park. This itinerary will take us to discover the geology, fauna and flora of corners such as the Vell Ter (former course of the River Ter), the Closes de Tamariu, the Pletera and its small inhabitants (the fartets), dune areas, ponds, and the Gola del Ter at the end of the route.
PDF routeThis circular itinerary allows you to visit the main points of the central part of the Montgrí massif. We will leave La Guarda's house, walk to the hermitage of Santa Caterina and go up to Montgrí Castle. We will return to the starting point by walking around the Montplà. During much of the route, you can enjoy great panoramas over Alt Empordà, the Gulf of Roses, Cap de Creus, Empordanet and Baix Ter, Torroella de Montgrí, the Medes Islands and Gavarres.

PDF routeLinear route that connects the Estartit promenade with Cala Montgó. The route passes through two very different environments: on the one hand, we will walk among scrubland and young white pine forests and, on the other, we will walk very close to impressive cliffs overlooking Cap de Creus, near Cala Montgó.
PDF routeIt is a very complete route for mountain biking. We will comfortably travel the plain, along simple tracks, both sand and asphalt, between the towns of Ullà, Bellcaire d'Empordà and Sobrestany, crossing cultivated fields and rice paddies. The other part of the route, with some technical difficulty, passes through the different slopes of the Great Mountain, between ancient dunes now fixed by cypress and white pine forests, where we can observe dry stone constructions, such as walls, vine huts and lime kilns.
PDF routeIt is located along the town centre of l'Estartit and is divided into three areas: the main beach, Griells beach and Pletera beach. Its fine sand and shallow waters make it a perfect beach for families.
Surrounded by pine trees and rocks, it is considered one of the most beautiful in the area. You can access it through the GR92 and take a local path that goes down to it. Although you must access with caution due to its slippery and steep path, it is worth it for its spectacular seabed.
The last of the rocky and unspoilt coves of l'Estartit, which you can reach by taking the GR92 path towards l'Escala. Its morphology and access road is similar to Pedrosa cove, but you can easily distinguish it because its entrance by sea is protected by two islets, known as Illots de cala Ferriol.
A cove with blue, crystal-clear and calm waters, famous among diving lovers thanks to its underwater paradise. You can access it from the coastal path that starts from the promenade of l'Escala.
It was declared Site of Historical Interest in 1973 & it was selected by the Catalunya Experience in France as one of the most beautiful villages in Catalonia. Walking through its streets, you will breathe the medieval essence of this beautiful corner of the Costa Brava, located at the top of a hill and inside a fortress.
This seafaring town will captivate you with its incredible streets that inspired the artista Salvador Dalí. Its bohemian atmosphere, its crystalline waters and its streets and buildings painted in white tones with blue details will not disappoint you. This charming little town on the Costa Brava it also has Salvador Dalí's House-Museum and several modernist buildings.
This is one of the few towns on the Costa Brava where the atmosphere that was present in the villages of the area before the arrival of tourism is still maintained. Its narrow streets, its houses with a sloping tile roof and some traditional houses make this old fishing village one of the most charming places on the Costa Brava.
It is considered one of the most mythical and charming villages on the Costa Brava, partly thanks to its delicious, brightly colored prawns. Walk along its seaside promenade while enjoying a relaxed atmosphere.
